Facade water leakage investigation
Did water enter through the facade during heavy rain? As an independent facade consultant we find where and why water gets in and write a technical report for a lasting repair.
Why it matters
On tall buildings, rain arrives together with strong wind and is driven against the facade under pressure. It finds small gaps left in design or installation that cause no problems at lower levels.
We work on the owner’s side, independent of the contractor. We document the source, describe the technical responsibility and the repair, in a report usable with building management, contractors and insurers.

Facade Water Leakage Investigation
Why are upper floors affected most?
Wind speed and therefore facade pressure increase with height. Wind-driven rain enters through small openings that cause no issue at lower floors.
Is sealing everything with silicone a solution?
Usually not. Random sealant can block drainage paths and make water accumulate inside the profiles and appear elsewhere. The water path must be identified first.
