Anchor, bracket and connection design
Connections are where facade loads enter the building. We calculate brackets, welds, bolts and concrete anchors, and verify special parts with finite element analysis.
Why it matters
Many facade failures start at the connection rather than the profile: anchors too close to the slab edge, cracked concrete ignored, undersized welds or fixed brackets that block thermal movement.
We design connections as part of the whole load path, using manufacturer software and ETA values for anchors, and FEM for special brackets and plates.
Systems
- Curtain wall brackets (fixed and sliding)
- Cladding substructure anchors
- Pergola and canopy post bases
- Steel brackets and secondary steel
- Chemical and mechanical anchors
Standards
- EN 1992-4
- ETA / EAD
- EN 1993-1-8
- EN 1999-1-1
- EN 1990
